Aquapac commissioned a study by Imperial College London to assess the suitability of these cases with insulin pumps. The research found that:

At low flow rates (e.g. 2U/hr), some cases may restrict insulin delivery

At higher flow rates (e.g. 10U/hr), performance remained unaffected
Aquapac cannot guarantee the case will maintain 100% flow integrity for all pump models or users.
Use of this case with an insulin pump is at the discretion of the user.
