How do you test a products durability and function to its limits outside of unrealistic lab test? Give it to a group of busy Outdoor instructors on the west coast of scotland. We use these cases everyday in our gorge, Out Kayaking and canoeing in the salt water loch and dragged through the Scottish mountains, Woods bogs and caves. These cases have kept our radios wich act as our life line dry, clean and well protected. And have Stood up to the abuse we put them through every day. Our sailing club has had to write off a lot of VHF radio's over the years, despite their being nominally waterproof. After trying a number of solutions, we think that this is the best to date. It is easy to drop the radio into the pouch and to take it out for recharging. The other type of Aquapac pouch is excellent, but we think that the clamp will not survive continual opening and closing. This is far better and the carry strap arrangement is also superior.
