What else do I need to know?

  • You can get great video with your front-facing camera. There is no lens window on the back of this case, so you cannot use a rear-facing/iSight camera. Sorry!
  • Some smartphones can be very sticky. Pinch the case by a corner and jiggle it to get a very sticky phone in and out.
  • Some devices will float in this case and some won’t – make sure you test yours in a basin before you launch it into the sea!
  • Capacitive touchscreens don’t work underwater, the water breaks the circuit. But you can use the volume buttons to operate your camera underwater.
  • Fingerprint recognition such as Apple’s Touch ID won’t work through the Aquapac – you will have to enter your passcode.
  • Some phones have rather sharp edges. We recommend use of a thin bumper case which will protect both phone and case.
  • We offer a wide range of different phone cases. Click here to see the complete collection.

I bought your pouch for my iPhone 2 weeks ago. July 15th I was swimming in Shelter Island waters and the phone (in the pouch) slipped off my swim shorts. I was devastated. It happened around 1pm in the afternoon in the busy waters of Crescent Beach on Shelter Island. I was swimming like a happy kid. Until I realised that my phone was gone. Off. Gone to the bottom of Atlantic Ocean. Everyone was having a party there, after all – it is Sunset Beach hotel, famous for loud parties. I was trying to swim and to dive to find it, but nothing happened. I went to bed and started fresh in the morning. After 24 hours laying on the bottom of the ocean – I FOUND IT! IT WAS WORKING! Waterproof means waterproof with your product! Thank you so much for a great product. I want to buy your stock (if you are a public company).

The Aquapac kit that I used was great. Not once did any of it let me down or leak, and the environment was extremely damp and wet.
